Trump not to tolerate foreign interference in the US elections,- White House

American President Donald Trump claimed that he won't tolerate an international interference in the US elections. Reads the statement of the White House after the session of the Homeland Security Council, as Interfax reports. 
'The President made it clear that his administration won't tolerate an international interference in our elections from the side of any country or malicious individuals,' reads the message. 

Donald Trump, Vice-President Mike Pence, State Secretary Mike Pompeo, Minister of Finances Steven Mnuchin, Head of the Pentagon James Mattis, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Minister of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen, Head of National Intelligence Dan Coats, Director of CIA Gina Haspel, National Security Advisor John Bolton, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the USA Joseph Dunford, Head of the FBI Christopher Wray and Head of Cyber Command of the USA Paul Nakasone were present and the session. 

'I can't tell you what precisely we are doing in this area. Just be sure that actions are being undertaken to protect our elections and to detect anyone's attempts to influence the American public, to show fake news etc. We are currently making efforts but I won't go into details,' James Mattis, Head of the Pentagon claimed by answering the question of the press, whether the United States attempts to take power to protect the elections from possible Russian intervention. 

Reportedly, the US President Donald Trump plans to undertake a meeting with his advisers on the issue of the National Security to protect the upcoming mid-term elections, which will take place in the fall.
