Speaker of the Senate of Poland Stanislaw Karczewski claimed that his country welcomes the Ukrainian migrants as it is more likely that they will respect the Polish values as Deutsche Welle reported.
The journalist reminded Karczewski that Poland does not fulfill its commitments on the reception of the refugees from the Northern Africa and the Middle East according to the demands of the EU and he answered:
“Those who criticize us, do they know that more than two millions of the Ukrainians have arrived in Poland during the last two years[/img]

According to him, the things that happen in Germany and France show that the migrants of the different cultures do not want to integrate and it is more likely that the Ukrainians will respect the Polish values.
Karczewski said that Poland has lived under the iron curtain for decades and he does not want anything to be imposed on his country, including the migration policy.
“The improvement of the defense of the external border and support of the people in their countries of origin should be in the interest of all EU countries,” he said.

Earlier we reported that Ukraine is losing not only the workforce but also a part of an active population due to a labor migration. In just a few months since its creation, the online platform UkrainianPeopleLeaks.com recorded 350,000 people who left the country.
As it was reported earlier, the population of Ukraine shrinks because of the labor migration, which often turns into the de facto migration, which means people choose to stay abroad rather than to return to their motherland. The research says that highly-educated Ukrainians go to Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and settle for the work in factories and fields. '39.2 percent of them carry out the most primitive work; 24.7 are involved in the handicraft, and another 16.5 work in the sales area. They earn less than the locals', reads the survey.
