Trump, Kim Jong-un sign historically important document

Leaders of the US Donald Trump and DPRK Kim Jong-un have signed the joint document on the results of the talks on June 12 in Singapore as BBC reported.
It is noted that the parties were in a good mood and smiled.

Trump claimed: "We sign a really important and comprehensive document. We had a really good meeting and our relations are excellent'.

on the content of the document.
'President Trump pledged to provide the guarantees of the DPRK safety and leader Kim Jong-un confirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to the complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula', the document said.

There are four main points of the signed document:
The sides announced the readiness for 'new relations' between the US and DPRK.
The US and DPRK to join the efforts for the establishment of the lasting peaceful environment on the Korean peninsula.
The DPRK pledges to assume effort for the complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula, confirming the Declaration dated April 27, 2018, signed in Panmunjom.
The US and DPRK pledge to hold the works on the search of the remains of the prisoners of war and urgent repatriation of the already identified.
The first-ever meeting of the current U.S. President and North Korean leader
took place on June 12 in Singapore. The main topics of the summit are the denuclearization of DPRK and reduction of tensions between he states.

Before the summit, Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump exchanged the historical handshake against the U.S. and North Korean flags. The leaders talked face-to-face in the presence of the translators and later the advisers and high-level officials joined them.
