U.S. Senate offers to tail people, organizations connected to Russian cyber attacks

The U.S. Senate offered to allow doing surveillance beyond the country for people and organization performing the harmful acts in the cyberspace on behalf of Russia. It is planned to empower the U.S. Defense Department to give an order at the beginning of the surveillance as TASS reported.

It is reported that the offer was included in the text of the bill for Pentagon's financing for 2019. The renewed text was approved by Senate Armed Services Committee.
'The Defense Secretary, acting through the command of the cyber command office and forces of this office, can perform the monitoring of the networks beyond the US; he will monitor the persons and organization acting on behalf  or in the support of Russia to robber and disclosure of the classified data of the U.S. citizens', the document stated.

Moreover, it is planned to allow the surveillance for people who post the information in the social networks on behalf of Russia that aims for the escalation of the social and political conflicts.
The Committee offers to empower the Defense Secretary and the President to order for the implementation of the necessary measures in the case if the information on the systematic and ongoing cyber attacks from Russia will be spotted.
