Putin excludes return of Crimea to Ukraine on any terms
President of Russia Vladimir Putin excludes return of occupied Crimea to Ukraine on any terms as he claimed to the Austrian TV channel ORF.
'No, there is no such terms', Putin said when he was asked about the terms on which Russia will return Crimea to Ukraine.

Putin called the events in February 2014 in Ukraine 'armed coup' one more time and explained the actions of the Russian army at the peninsula.
'Our army was in Crimea on the legal basis; there was our military base as agreed. The first thing we did – we increased our contingent to provide the security of our armed forces there, our military objects that had to be attempted and encroached as we saw. That was the beginning', Putin added.

He also said that Crimea joined Russia in the result of the will of the Crimeans at the open referendum but not in the result of the invasion of the Russian troops.
Crimea was annexed by Russia by way of the illegal referendum that was held at the peninsula in March 2014. Earlier the Russian militaries that stayed there without any marking conquered all strategic military objects and building of the force and state bodies. The results of the referendum were not recognized by Ukraine and the world society. The number of the European and world countries, including Ukraine imposed the economic sanctions against Russia.
