The automobile traffic over the bridge will be opened prematurely at 5:30 am, on May 16 (Moscow time).
'The traffic will be opened at both directions simultaneously. It will be able to drive at two lanes in both direction, the maximum speed is 90 kilometers per hour, the stay at the bridge is forbidden', the title noted.

As we reported Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko ordered to sue Russia for the ecological damage
brought by the construction of the bridge over Kerch strait in occupied Crimea.
U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch expressed confidence that the ongoing construction of the bridge over Kerch Strait could vastly interfere with Ukraine’s transport connection with international markets.

The Ukrainian side has withdrawn from the treaty with Russia on the construction of the bridge in 2014 after the annexation of Crimea.
The works on the construction have begun in May 2015, regardless the withdrawal.
