Police investigates possible collusion against ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine

The National Police of Ukraine has opened a criminal proceeding due to the interference in the activity of Arseny Yatsenyuk for his resignation from the post of Ukraine's Prime Minister as the press service of the Interior Ministry reported.
'After the number of the publications in the mass media and appeals of the MPs, the Chief Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine has opened a criminal proceeding due to the interference in the activity of Arseny Yatsenyuk when he occupied the post of Ukraine's Prime Minister that aimed for his resignation', the message said.

The criminal proceeding was opened due to the interference in the activity of the state worker.
It is noted that the police considers that a possible collusion of a group of people for the implementation of the plan on Yatsenyuk's resignation could take place. Preliminary, they interfered in his activity through the bribery of the citizens, organization of the paid rallies and spread of the discreditation and fake information in the mass media through the MPs, experts and others.
Particularly, police refers to the data of fugitive MP Oleksandr Onyshchenko that confirmed spending of more than $30 million for such campaigns in 2015-2016.

Arseny Yatsenyuk headed the government of Ukraine since February 27, 2014, until April 14, 2016
