The number of detainees at protest rallies “He is not our Tsar” in the Russian Federation doubled in two hours. As of 18:00 in 21 cities, at least 1230 people have been detained, reports OVD-Info.

In particular, in Moscow law enforcers detained 592 people, in Chelyabinsk - 164, in St. Petersburg - 112, in Yakutsk - 75, in Toliatti - 63, in Krasnodar - 48, in Krasnoyarsk - 35, in Kaluga - 28, in Novokuznetsk - 27, in Samara - 19, in Voronezh - 16, in Barnaul -10, in Vladimir - 10, in Penza - 7, in Blagoveshchensk - 6, in Kurgan - 6, in Tver - 5, in Astrakhan - 3, in Kemerovo - 2, in Yekaterinburg and Tomsk - one person.

Earlier, we informed that 587 people were detained at protest rallies in Russia.

It is noteworthy that the police detain even children.

Oppositionist Alexei Navalny, whose supporters are called organizers of the events, was also detained in Moscow on Pushkinska Square. There law enforcers used force to protesters, reported the victims.
It is noted that the detentions are held simultaneously with the brawls between the supporters of Navalny and the сossacks, who arrived at Pushkin Square and started beating people with whips.

Protests “He is not our Tsar” are timed to the inauguration of President Vladimir Putin, which will be held on May 7.
