Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Thomas Greminger welcomes the intention of the DPRK and South Korea to sign a peace treaty. This is reported on the organization's website.

"I hope that this event will positively affect our global security and will inspire other states in conflict to take the path of peace," Greminger said.

In his turn, OSCE Chairman Angelino Alfano also welcomed the decision and expressed the hope that "the outcome of the meeting will make a positive contribution to relieving tension in the region."

We recall, North and South Korea agreed to stop any hostile actions against each other. This is stated in the declaration, which the leaders signed today, April 27.

It is about signing a peace treaty before the end of this year on the formal termination of the Korean War.
Earlier Lindsey Graham, an American Senator, stated that Donald Trump, the U.S. President, deserves a Nobel Prize, as Fox News reports.
"Donald Trump convinced North Korea and China he was serious about bringing about change. We're not there yet, but if this happens, President Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize," Graham said.
He also stressed that Trump’s aggressive position helped to return North Korea to the negotiations.
Trump appears to be a Nobel Prize nominee for the third time due to his commitment to the ideology of struggling for peace by force.
