Visit of Putin to Crimea is provocation, - Poroshenko

Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine claimed the today's visit of Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia to annexed Crimea a provocation. He claimed this at the joint briefing with Alexander Van der Bellen, the President of Austria as 112.ua reported.
'We see the extremely dangerous provocation when Putin, the President of Russia intentionally comes to the occupied territory before the election, visits Simferopol, Sevastopol and that is why the united position of the whole world on the non-recognition of the election of the president of Russia at the territory of occupied Crimea is extremely important', Poroshenko claimed.

Also, the president claimed on the necessity to impose the sanctions against the organizers of the election in occupied Crimea.
'We will pay close attention to make this election to be not recognized by the world to prevent the presence of the observers there, to bring to the responsibility all those who organize this election, including the imposing of the sanctions against them', he added.

The election of the president of Russia will take place on March 18, 2018. The Central Election Commission registered eight candidates, including Vladimir Putin, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Ksenia Sobchak and Grigory Yavlinsky.
Earlier Poroshenko urged G7 to condemn and not recognize the Russian election in Crimea.
