Putin: 'Ukrainians, Tatars or Jews could interfere with U.S. presidential election'

Russian president Vladimir Putin supposed that either Ukrainians, Tatars or Jews could be behind intereference] - anyone but not the Kremlin. He said that in his interview for NBC channel as quoted by AFP.
'Why have you decided the Russian authorities, myself included, gave anybody permission to do this?', he asked.
'So what if they're Russians? There are 146 million Russians. So what?... I don't care. I couldn't care less... They do not represent the interests of the Russian state. Maybe they are not even Russians but Ukrainians, Tatars or Jews, but with Russian citizenship, which should also be checked; maybe they have dual citizenship or a green card; maybe the US paid them for this. How can you know that? I do not know either', Putin said.

Previously, U.S. Secretary of the State Rex Tillerson said Russia already attempts to meddle in the Congress elections like it was durting the presidential campaign in 2016. According to him, the U.S. lacks protection from cyber attacks from Russia.
Last month, the U.S. Department of Justice filed charges against 16 Russian individuals and three companies, accusing them of interference with the U.S. presidential election in 2016.
