Sobchak's request to enter Crimea is political schizophrenia, - Klimkin

Entering the occupied Crimea with clear intentions to campaign before the illegitimate elections may be treated as political schizophrenia. Pavlo Klimkin, the foreign minister of Ukraine tweeted that on Wednesday; thus, the official commented on the politician's intentions to campaign in the Russian-occupied peninsula.
'They ask me about Sobchak (Ksenia Sobchak, the famous Russian blogger, civil activist and presidential candidate, - 112 International) and the occupied Crimea as if there are no other topics to discuss. Abiding by the Ukrainian law in terms of entering Crimea is a good thing, of course; but a legal entry, followed by an illegitimate campaigning, held in the occupied territory is clearly a case of schizophrenia, of a political sort,' he posted.

Klimkin also added that in order to talk to Crimean Tatars, one needs to come to Kyiv and meet with Mejlis members. 'It is world-recognized but banned in the occupied Crimea. I hope Mrs. Sobchak currently stands with the civilized world,' he wrote.
Previously, Ksenia Sobchak said she sent Ukraine's embassy a request to enter Crimea from the territory of the mainland Ukraine, which meets the demands of the Ukrainian law. Later, the Ukrainian embassy in Russia denied this piece of information.
