Pavlo Klimkin, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine claimed that there are no anti-Hungarian attitude and campaigns in the country; the provocations are the attempts to disrupt the situation in Zakarpattia. He claimed this at the joint press conference with Finish Foreign Minister Timo Soini as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.
‘The last example is the understanding that exactly Russia attempts to destabilize the situation in Zakarpattia where we have the Hungarian community. At the moment, it is clear that the organizer of these events disappeared in Transnistria where the 100% control of Russia’s FSB is. So, all those who try to say that there is some anti-Hungarian attitude or even campaign should appeal to Moscow, to Kremlin and Central Department of the FSB. I am sure that Moscow will continue the attempts to disrupt the situation and we will counter-stand this’, Klimkin claimed.

He also added that the government will not allow to threaten the citizens of Ukraine of the Hungarian origin.
On February 4, a bottle with an incendiary mixture was thrown into the building of the Transcarpathian Union of Hungarians. Minister of Foreign Affairs condemned people, who did this in the building of Hungarians Union.
The arson at the office happened in small hours of February 26. Units of the State Emergency Service put out the fire after it destroyed furniture and part of the property on an area of 25 square meters.

Previously, the National Police detained five men involved in the incident; the assumed organizer is still at large.
Also, Pavlo Klimkin, Ukraine's Foreign Minister claimed that the Russian provocateurs could be behind the recent attack on the Hungarian Culture Association.
