Russian court extends arrest of Pavlo Gryb until May 4

The Russian court in Krasnodar extended the arrest of illegally detained Pavlo Gryb for two months until May 4 as his father Ihor Gryb reported on
FacebookTodays decision of the Krasnodar district court is to keep Pavlo in the custody until May 4. The prosecutor argues that Pavlo is not ill, providing the medical notes with good results to the court and my son never had such notes, Ihor Gryb claimed.

At the same time, the detention facility, where Gryb is kept, refuses to accept or to register the complaints about his health.
There is no response from the administration of the detention facility to all complaints of my son. The medicines bought at my own expense are not given to him. The complaints of Pavlo about health, intense belly- and stomachache, general weakness are not registered. There is a constant moral coercion at him. The fight continues, Gryb claimed.

As we reported the Ukrainian consuls are not allowed to the court session on the case of Pavlo Gryb
. Pavlo Klimkin, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine called it the violation of all international norms and complete lawlessness.

A19-years old Pavlo Gryb got lost in Belarus on August 24. The young man was later found at a prison in Krasnodar, Russia. He told a Russian lawyer that hehad been kidnapped in Belarus and brought to Russia, where he is accusedof preparing a terrorist attack on a Russian school.

It has been repeatedly stressed by the Ukrainian side that Gryb needs medication or his life would be under threat, but Russia repeatedly disregarded the appeals, even the one from theEuropean Court for Human Rights.
