Organizers of Siemens turbines delivery to Crimea under sanctions

The USA has introduced sanctions against Russian individuals and companies that participated in delivering] to Crimea, RBK reports.
These are the Deputy Minister of Energy Andrey Cherezov, the head of the department of operative control and management of electricity industry of the Energy Ministry Evgeniy Grabchak, and the CEO of Tekhnopromeksport Sergey Topor-Gilka. All of them facilitated the unlawful procedure.

Two companies, Tekhnopromeksport and Sylovye Mashyny, are also under sanctions as their owner is a minority shareholder of Siemens technologies of gas turbines - the company that distributed the equipment that later on wound up in Crimea.
The scandal on the supply of the Siemens gas turbines to occupied Crimea beyond EU sanctions took place in July 2017. Four gas turbines produced by Siemens were brought to Crimea, having circumvented the sanctions that not allow having business with the occupied territory. Russia claimed they would be used in Taman but secretly brought them to the peninsula.
