Donbas conflict: Mariupol becomes 'hottest spot' in eastern UkraineThe Mariupol's neighborhoods, Donetsk region became the hottest spots in eastern Ukraine's combat area.

This is reported by the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation headquarters on Facebook.

Towns of Vodyane, Krasnohorivka, Hnutove, and Slavne went under mortar fire. Russian-backed militants' units also used RPGs and heavy machineguns to attack Shyrokyne, Novotroitske, Pavlopol, Mariinka, and Lebedynske

Militants' snipers were spotted in Hnutove and Novotroitske. Besides, they fired AA guns in Hnutove, reads the report.

In Donetsk region, the separatists fired 82 and 120 mm mortars in Avdiivka, Neverlske, Luhanske, Butivka coal mine, and Kamyanka. 82 mm mines hit Zaitsevo, and Troitske. Militants' snipers opened fire in Avdiivka. IFV fire was reported in Zaitsevo.

In Luhansk region, pro-Russian mercenaries fired mortars of various calibers, attacking Novozvanivka, Katerynivka and Troitske.

Valuiske and Stanytsia Luhanska went under anti-tank grenade launchers. Militants' troops used 82 mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers, and heavy machineguns to attack Troitske.
