China unveils fifth-generation J-20 fighter (VIDEO)China makes a public debut for its new super-weapon Chengdu J-20 fighter at the Zhuhai airshow in Guangdong province on Tuesday.

Two of the new state-of-the-art fighter jets which are invisible to radar performed a fly past at the popular military technology show. The new military hardware is being presented as Chinas answer to the US-made F-35 combat jets.

The fifth-generation long-range warplane, armed with air-to-air missiles, performed its first test flight in 2011 and has been the object of feverish attention by the nation's aviation buffs.
