Ukrainian President signes law amending Budget Code as part of decentralisation
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed law No. 1509-VIII amending the Budget Code of Ukraine concerning sending some administrative fees to local budgets.
The press service of the Ukrainian president reported on Monday that the law amends the Budget Code as part of decentralisation. It says that revenue of the general fund of the budgets of merged territorial communities created under Ukrainian law and the long-term communities creation plan will include some types of fees for the provision of administrative services.
This concerns the administrative fee for the registration of ownership rights to immovable property and their encumbrances, the administrative fee for the registration of companies and individual businessmen and public unions; the fee for the reduction of terms of the provision of the above-mentioned services and the fee for the provision of other fee-based services linked to this registration.
The administrative fee for the registration of companies and businessmen by executive agencies of rural and town councils will be sent to local budgets.
The law took the effect next day after its publication.
