Clinton, Trump expose medical fitness for presidency
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, U.S. presidential candidates, showed their medical fitness for the White House on Wednesday.
Clinton released a letter from her doctor declaring her fit for the presidency while Trump taped a TV-segment about his well-being.
According to letter from Clinton’s physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack, she is healthy and fit to serve as president and is currently recovering from non-contagious, bacterial pneumonia. The letter about the Democratic nominee’s medical condition was released by her campaign.“She is recovering well with antibiotics and rest. She continues to remain healthy and fit to serve as President of the United States,”
Bardack wrote in a letter about Clinton.
The issue was raised after Clinton fell ill on Sunday morning as she left a September 11 memorial in New York City. Democratic candidate has returned to the campaign trail on Thursday.
Trump decided to take part in an episode of the “Dr. Oz Show”
in New York that will air on Thursday. Still on Wednesday, Republican campaign adviser Sarah Huckabee Sanders told MSNBC their nominee could stand to lose a few pounds but otherwise is in great health.
Trump’s campaign has said he will release additional medical information to the public in the coming days.
