Speaking on air of Freedom of Speech talk show on ICTV TV channel, Klimkin said: "We will consider various options to the extent of not to participating in PACE. Of course, I can not say it to the MPs of Ukraine, it is their sovereign decision, but I would advise to resort to very radical steps."

The minister noted: "All Russian elections to the State Duma can not be legitimate because of the illegitimate and null elections on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

"So we have questions regarding conducting of these elections in the occupied Crimea. How the Russian State Duma will be perceived after the elections? Whereas the results of the voting are awry by definition. Thus, the issue of legitimacy of this State Duma arises," Klimkin added.
