Holland raised concerns over situation in Ukraine
French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel has discussed the situation on east Ukraine with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Bloomberg reports Tuesday, citing a statement from Hollande’s office.
As it is reported, Hollande raised a high concern as the number of ceasefire violations reported in east Ukraine is growing. The French President insisted a new four-way meeting between France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine should take place. The main issue of the meeting is the ways to resolve the crisis.“The leaders of three countries decided to continue personal contacts over Ukrainian issue and conduct a meeting during G20 summit on September 4-5 in China,”
Kremlin statement confirmed.
