Activity of Russian troops near Crimea-Ukraine administrative boundary decreased
‘The situation at the administrative border with Crimea remains calm. The checkpoints are working under their common schedule. For the last 24 hours, the flow of passengers has cut down by 22 percent compared with that on Saturday, August 13. Most of these people leave Crimea, not enter it. No gridlocks reported on the border’, spokesman of the State Border Guard, Oleg Slobodyan, said.
In his commentary to 112 Ukraine TV channel, the official noted that there is a queue of people on the Crimean side, instead. He also confirmed that the rotation activity of Russian troops in Crimea calmed down, too. ‘There were no helicopters or drones performing aerial reconnaissance in the region’, Slobodyan said.
