More Russian armed militaries at the Crimean border
The Russian Federation is increasing the amount of its military at the crossing points in Crimea, UNIAN.
The assistant of the Chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine (SBSU) Oleg Slobodian reported at the briefing: “The amount of military have been increased significantly at the crossing points of the occupied Crimea.
“Positions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were intensified by newly-supplied military equipment and personnel. The use of the military aircrafts has soared significantly, including unmanned aerial vehicles, aerostats, marine boats ,” he added.
Slobodyan also said: “Since August 7 the border officers have recorded 15 overflights of the Russian MI-8 helicopters at the administrative border, including 12 times of using unmanned aerial vehicle to conduct an aerial reconnaissance.
"At least five times boats of different types have traveled along the administrative border. Aerostat of “Rus’” type that is poised in the air over 1km above the ground was intensively used at the Russian crossing point “Armyansk,” he added.
