In Ukraine abolished the sanitary standards of housing

In Ukraine abolished the sanitary standards of housingFrom the Ukrainian legislation the notion of sanitary norms disappear with the arrival of the housing 2017.

In addition to the social norms, there are health standards - the minimum amount of floor space attributable to one person and necessary for its normal life. This standard is determined by the health authorities and approved by the executive authorities.

For clarification regarding the current Ukrainian sanitary norms, we asked the Ministry of Health.

According to the received response from the Ministry of Health, now in Ukraine is still operating Soviet state health standards of living space - namely, a minimum of 6 square meters per person (the size of the living space afforded to citizens in the dorms).

However, since 1 January 2017, these sanitary norms canceled the order of the Cabinet of Ministers on January 20, 2016 "On the Repeal of not acting on the territory of Ukraine acts sanitary legislation".

In this case we are not talking about replacing the Soviet Ukrainian sanitary norms new - this concept is actually removed from the Ukrainian legal framework.
