Russia preparing for Minsk agreement disruption - Ukrainian NSDC's Secretary

Russia preparing for Minsk agreement disruption - Ukrainian NSDC's SecretarySecretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov says that statements made by Russian President Vladimir Putin that Kyiv has "shifted to the practice of terror" against Russia are evidence of the Russian side's plan to escalate the situation in Ukraine and disrupt the Minsk peace agreements on Donbas.

"Putin's statement, which has become a sequel to hysterical allegations by the [Russian security service] FSB, indicates that Russia is deliberately preparing for the escalation of the situation and Minsk agreement disruption," the NSDC's press service quoted Turchynov as saying on Wednesday.

"Putin has not come up with anything better than a cheap show staged by the FSB with improvised explosive devices," he said.

"As for the terror mentioned by the President of the Russian Federation, it is Russia that commits the widespread terror, the cynical violation of human rights and mass killings in occupied territory in Crimea and Donbas," he stressed.

Turchynov said that Crimea was, is and will be part of Ukrainian territory, "even being temporarily occupied by Russian aggressors."
Putin said earlier on Wednesday that " those people who had grabbed power in due time in Kyiv and continue retaining it, instead of seeking the ways for a peaceful settlement, shifted to the practice of terror."
