Braking system is damaged, glasses are broken.
Two locomotives of the freight train were fired at the Skotovataya station in Donetsk region by militants yesterday, press secretary of the Ukrzaliznytsya [Ukrainian railway service] reports.
The shell exploded 25 metres from the train around 7pm August, 8. In the result of the explosion, glasses were blown away and the braking system was damaged.
Brigades were reported to be evacuated, no person was harmed.
“The railwaymen working in the ATO area are put into extremely difficult and precarious conditions, however, the Ukrainian railway service and the Ministry of Energy and Coal provide the top-priority realization of the Government orders concerning the supply of power station coal to the thermal power plants,”- the Ukrainian railway service.
Earlier, Ukraine resumed the railway freight traffic with the occupied territory of Donbass on June, 25.
