Hilary Clinton accepted the nomination from DNC (VIDEO)On Thursday Hillary Clinton gave the biggest speech in her political career, accepted the Democratic presidential nomination for the Nov. 8 election.

On convention Clinton was introduced by her daughter Chelsea. “I’ve seen her holding the hands of mothers struggling to feed their kids or get them the healthcare they need, my mother promising to do everything she could to help,” she told in her speech.

Hilary Clinton made the promise that United States would be a country that worked for everyone. "We are clear-eyed about what our country is up against. But we are not afraid," she said.

Clinton cast herself as the steady leader at a "moment of reckoning" for America, contrasting her character with what she described as a dangerous and volatile Donald Trump. Besides, Trump got his portion of attention in her speech.

"He's taken the Republican Party a long way, from 'Morning in America' to 'Midnight in America,'" Clinton said. "He wants to divide us - from the rest of the world, and from each other."

Clinton portrayed Trump as a threat to the country, saying "a man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons."

Clinton made history with her nomination, calling it "a milestone."

"When any barrier falls in America, for anyone, it clears the way for everyone. That’s why when there are no ceilings, the sky's the limit," the 68-year-old Clinton said.

"I will be a president for Democrats, Republicans and independents," she added.
