The Ministry marked that the monitoring by OSCE observers along the state border is an inseparable condition of successful peaceful regulation of the conflict. ĎRussiaís explicit resist to this important element of security is a goal-oriented counteraction of the Minsk process. The full-fledged presence of international observers will not let Russia continue secretly send its troops and weaponry on the Ukrainian soilí, reads the commentary.

The decision to extend the mandate of the OSCE observers in Donbas until October 31, 2016, was made on Thursday at the Councilís session in Vienna. The observers will be stationed at Donetsk and Gukovo checkpoints, on the Russian side of the state border.

The initial decision to send the OSCE observers to Donbas was made in July 2014. The missionís mandate has been extended every three months.
