New proofs of Russian invention in Donbas were revealed by human rights activists
IPHR published the report
on cross border shelling. It presents an analysis of the attacks on villages in Lugansk province in eastern Ukraine in 2014 and evidence which indicates that these attacks prove that the conflict is of an international. The report also presents detailed findings concerning violations of international humanitarian law and international criminal law which were perpetrated in the area in the summer of 2014.
Collected evidence proved that there are reasonable grounds to believe that in the attacks in Lugansk province fighters from the Russian federation illegally crossed the Ukrainian state border, and subsequently carried out attacks on military infrastructure, state border units and civilian objects.
Human rights activists hope that their report will help to bring to justice those who gave the criminal orders.
