SBU investigating Medvedchuk's Ukrainian Choice movement for separatist activities
The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) is currently investigating the possible involvement of the Ukrainian Choice civic movement in separatist activities.
"The inspection to identify possible involvement of the [non-governmental] organization Ukrainian Choice has been conducted in the criminal inquiry opened on April 25 on suspicion of criminal offences specified in Article 109 Part 3 (actions aimed at violent alteration or overthrow of the constitutional system or seizure of government power), Article 111 Part 1 (high treason) and Article 258-5 Part 1 (financing of terrorism) of the Criminal Code," the SBU press service told Interfax.
