Ukrainian parliament will consider dismissal of CEC members (updated)A presidential draft decree on dismissal of members of the Central Election Commission has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.

Relevant document No. 4789 dated June 3 was posted on the parliament's website on Tuesday, June 7.

The text of the document has been passed for consideration to the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada.

Reportedly, draft decree No. 4789 suggests that chairman Mykhailo Okhendovsky as well as Tamara Astakhova, Yuriy Danylevsky, Ihor Zhydenko, Tetiana Lukash, Andriy Mahera, Bronislav Raikovsky, Zhanna Usenko-Chorna, Oleksandr Chupakhin, Yulia Shvets, Oleksandr Shelestov, and Valeriy Sheludko should be dismissed as their term of office has expired.
