‘Savchenko list’ to be extended - Ukraine's Foreign MinisterUkraine plans to extend ‘Savchenko list’ after a guilty verdict has been issued to Ukrainian citizens Mykola Karpyuk and Stanislav Klykh by a Chechen court, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin informed in an interview to ‘Vesti’.

‘We have ‘Savchenko list’ and we currently plan to extend it due to Karpyuk and Klykh’s guilty verdict’, - the Minister said.

On May 26, Supreme Court of Chechnya issued a guilty verdict to Karpyuk and Klykh for taking part in military action on the side of Chechen separatists back in 1990s. Karpyuk was sentences to 22,5 years of colony, Klykh – to 20 years of colony.

Leader of Ukraine’s National Assembly Mykola Karpyuk was arrested in March 2014 in Russia. Ukrainian journalist Stanislav Klykh was arrested in September 2014 on the territory of the Russian Federation while visiting his pregnant girlfriend.
