Gorbachev banned from entering Ukrain for 5 years - SBU
The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) has imposed a five-year entry ban on former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, as SBU spokesperson Olena Hitlianska told Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
"It's true, we have barred [Gorbachev] for five years in the interests of national security, particularly for publicly supporting Crimea's military annexation," Hitlianska said.
Earlier, MP from the People's Front parliamentary faction Anton Gerashchenko said that Gorbachev would be included in Ukraine's stop lists.

"We've already got a list of individuals who call on violations of Ukraine's territorial integrity. For instance [leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) Vladimir] Zhirinovsky is there. I will also propose that the SBU [Security Service of Ukraine] include Gorbachev," Gerashchenko said.
