Kyiv District Administrative court canceled the decision of Kyiv City Council, which stipulates that the avenues renamed after Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevych will keep the old, Soviet-time names - Moskovsky Avenue and Vatutin Avenue, respectively. Yuriy Syrotyuk, the MP from Svoboda party posted this on Facebook.
'Judge Olesya Chudak - who, by the way, previously prosecuted Maidan activists - canceled the decision of Kyiv City Council on renaming the avenues of Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevych in Kyiv. But, no matter how the Administratie Court twists and rolls, there will be Bandera and Shukhevych Avenues. There's an appeal up ahead, and the Supreme Court, if necessary', Syrotyuk wrote.

He added that pro-Russian activist Olena Berezhna was the one who filed the respective lawsuit.
The court's official website has not yet published this information on canceling the Kyiv City Council decisions, originally made in 2016 and 2017.
