Boris Johnson, one of the major contestants running for the chair of British Prime Minister claimed that Great Britain would leave the EU on October 31 anyway. Johnson tweeted this on June 25.
'If I become PM, we will leave the EU on 31st October, deal or no deal. Today I have asked Jeremy Hunt whether he will also commit to this date, no matter what. We must keep our promises to the British people and deliver Brexit - no ifs, no buts, and no second referendum', he wrote.
Johnson applied a letter that he sent Jeremy Hunt, the current Foreign Office Secretary and another runner for the Prime Minister office.

'The central question in this leadership contest is whether the next Prime Minister agrees to honour the referendum result and commits to leaving the EU on 31 October. If we fail to deliver once again, the consequences for our Party (the Conservative party, - 112 International) and our country will be devastating', the letter reads.
Hunt and Johnson have been competing over the major office in the United Kingdom, as Theresa May officially stepped down on June 7. Johnson won in all rounds of the voting at the Parliament, gaining a considerable advantage over Hunt.
