Trump’s administration confirms discussion of Ukraine with Putin at G20

Ukraine will be one of the issues planned for the discussion between the U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin during G20 summit as Ukrinform reported citing U.S. Administration official.
“It is expected that the talk will be focused on the issues of the regional security mostly, including Iran, Ukraine, Syria, Middle East,” the official noted.
According to him, the U.S. representatives plan to discuss control over armament and improving of the bilateral relations.

Earlier, the U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he would meet with his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin at G20 Summit in the Japanese Osaka. In November 2018, the U.S. President refused from the scheduled meeting with Putin at G20 Summit in Argentina after Russia captured Ukraine’s vessels and sailors near Kerch Strait.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is not invited to G20 summit. Therefore, Zelensky will not meet with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
