Zelensky dismisses Deputy Head Ukraine’s Security Service from military service to reserve

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Oleg Frolov from the military service to the reserve as the presidential website reported.
“To dismiss Colonel-General Frolov V. Oleg from the military service to the reserve of the Security Service of Ukraine due to the holding of the organization events with the right to wear a military uniform,” the order said.
Oleg Frolov is working in the security bodies from 1993. From 2007 up to 2010, he was Deputy Head of State Service of Special Communication and Information Defense of Ukraine. In 2011 he was appointed as First Deputy of State Service of Ukraine for Personal Data Protection.

In July 2014, Frolov was appointed as Head of Operational and Technical Services Department of the Security Service of Ukraine.
On June 23, 2015, Frolov became Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
As we reported Ukraine’s PM Groysman wrote the resignation letter, dated May 20. He said he would resign on Wednesday, May 22. Groysman headed Ukraine’s Government since April 14, 2016.

However, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine refused to dismiss PM Volodymyr Groysman.
Besides, Oleksandr Turchynov, the National Security and Defense Secretary officially resigned on May 17.  Before he worked in the Verkhovna Rada, he was Acting President of Ukraine in spring, 2014.
