DRAGON-19 drills kick off in Poland

DRAGON-19, the NATO drill, the largest one this year began in Poland. Polskie Radio reported this June 17. 
The exercise involves soldiers from twelve NATO member countries, with 11th Lublin Armored Cavalry (Poland) in the leader status. It will enjoy the support of military units from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Romania and Slovakia.
18,000 staff and 2,500 military vehicles participate in the drills.

Maneuvers take place on the land and the sea, in the air and even in the cyber space. The drills will last for four days.
The key goal of the exercise is to check the compatibility of Polish forces with the Allied troops located in this country within improvement of the NATO eastern flank.
