Mikheil Saakashvili, the ex-president of Georgia and former chairman of Odesa Regional State Administration intends to return to Ukraine in the coming days, as UNN reported. 
According to the report, Saakashvili will arrive in Ukraine on Wednesday, May 29. 
Ruslan Chornolutsky, the lawyer of Mikheil Saakashvili, the ex-president of Georgia and former chairman of Odesa Regional State Administration appealed to the Administration of President with a request to return citizenship of Ukraine to his client.

He urged the citizens to follow the events and further legal steps, which he plans to assume to return Ukrainian citizenship to Saakashvili.
On April 29, 2019, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili should again receive Ukrainian citizenship.
On July 26, 2017, President Petro Poroshenko, by his decree, ceased Ukrainian citizenship of Saakashvili. On January 29, the Supreme Court began to consider the legality of this decision. On February 12, 2018, the border guards expelled the ex-president of Georgia from Ukraine to Poland as part of the readmission procedure.
Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko stated that Saakashvili financed the protests for the seizure of state power in Ukraine for the money of ex-President Viktor Yanukovych associates, in particular, Serhiy Kurchenko. In December 2017, Saakashvili was detained on suspicion of assisting members of a criminal organization and promoting criminal activity. He was informed of suspicion.
