Ruslan Stefanchuk, the representative of Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Verkhovna Rada offers to reduce the number of MPs as LB.ua reported.
“Today people discuss the number of the lawmakers: 450 is it a lot or little. There are European norms of the representation. When there were 52 million of Ukrainians this number was enough but if we will see after the population census that there are 30 million of people then why do we need 450 MPs[/img]

On May 21, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Ruslan Stefanchuk as his representative at the Verkhovna Rada.
Earlier we reported that the Verkhovna Rada refused to include the draft law on the amendment of the electoral system on parliamentary elections in the agenda as well as the draft law on the procurement system during the elections.
He is sure that the norms of the representation of the people in the parliament are violated so the number of the lawmakers should be reconsidered
