Former deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Yanukovych, Andriy Portnov, intends to immediately begin filing applications to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the State Investigatio Bureau about crimes allegedly committed by Petro Poroshenko and people from his entourage. He told about this in an interview to Strana.ua.

"The main focus is the abuses that caused the greatest resonance in society. These are embezzlements in the army, the story of the defense order of Leninska Kusnia plant and the sale of this asset for $ 300 million, as well as the Panama offshore of the fifth president," the report said.

Portnov is convinced that the Ukrainian courts will satisfy the petition of prosecutors to take Poroshenko into custody.

At the same time, he also considers it necessary to ensure the arrest of the property of the President and his assets, including in offshore jurisdiction. It is noted that the Portnov team has already conducted preparatory work and consultations in Panama and the UK for this purpose.
We recall that today, May 19, the former first deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine in the times of Viktor Yanukovych, Andriy Portnov, has returned to Ukraine.

Portnov left the territory of Ukraine, like many other top officials during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych, in 2014. He lived in Moscow (Russia) and Vienna (Austria).

The Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was looking for him on charges of embezzling property or taking possession of it by abuse of his official position (part 3 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) from January 15, 2015, but soon the search was terminated.

Recently it became known that NABU closed the case on Portnov's illegal enrichment.
