Keir Starmer, member of the Labor Party and shadow Brexit secretary, wants another referendum on Britain’s exit from the EU, as Sky News reported.
“The shadow Brexit secretary claims up to 150 of Labour's 229 MPs would refuse to vote for a deal if the government failed to promise a new poll,” the message reads.
The new referendum should be a part of any deal with the Conservatives, as Starmer said.

In an interview for the Guardian, he noted that a referendum must be part of any package agreed with the government.
“Theresa May would further damage the prospect of any deal if she set imminent departure date from No 10,” the news agency cites Starmer.

His showdown was announced in 24 hours after former Secretary of State for Defence Gavin Williamson said that May’s attempts to conclude Brexit deal with the Labor Party “were meant to fail”.
In early March, Prime Minister Theresa May stated that she and the Labor’s leader Jeremy Corbin should put aside their misunderstandings to conclude Brexit deal.

On April 9, British Parliament voted for May’s plan to delay Brexit till June 30.
