Russian FSB detained member of Ukraine's far-right Right Sector near Moscow

The officers of the FSB and Russian Interior Ministry detained Ukrainian Ihor Pirozhok. He is considered to be an active participant of the Right Sector, Ukraine's far-right organization banned in Russia, as TASS news agency reported. 
According to the message, it was established during the preliminary investigation that detained joined the Right Sector in 2014 under a pseudonym Roman Chyrka and created “Borzi” battalion for holding of the guerrilla warfare.

The FSB states that Pirozhok came to the territory of Moscow region in January 2018 and lived at different secret addresses, “held events in the interests of the Right Sector, spread its ideological and agitation and propaganda materials.”
It is noted that the literature, symbols, and materials of the Right Sector were confiscated during the searching of his house.

The FSB has opened the criminal proceeding due to the organization of the activity of the extremist organization; the suspected was arrested.

Right Sector was created as a paramilitary confederation of several radical nationalist organizations at the Maidan 2013 in Kyiv, where its street fighters participated in clashes with riot police; later they created their own party. Right Sector claims to have received donations from the Ukrainian diaspora. During Donbas conflict they created their battalion. Their ideology could be described as anti-Americanism, Euroscepticism, anti-Russian, .
