President Donald Trump declared a national emergency to build his long-promised wall at the U.S.-Mexico border on Friday, - as AR reports.
According to the report, Congress approved far less money for his proposed wall that he had sought, so Trump declared the state of emergency. Trump said he would use executive action to siphon billions of dollars from federal military construction and counterdrug efforts for the wall.
According to the U.S. legislature, the President has more authority during the state of emergency. So in that way, Tramp can bypass Congress and get the necessary funds in order to build the wall.
Making the announcement in the White House Rose Garden, the president said the emergency would allow him to get almost $8bn for the wall.

The money is expected to be diverted from military construction projects and efforts to fight the drugs trade.
This is still considerably short of the estimated $23bn cost of the wall along almost 2,000 miles (3,200km) of the border.
House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democrat leader Chuck Schumer responded to M.r Trump's announcement with a statement saying they would challenge the move in Congress and in the courts "using every remedy available". She also pointed out that Trump promised during his election campaign that Mexico would pay for the wall.
