Russian missiles threat half of Europe, - Ukrainian reconnaissance

Ukrainian reconnaissance has repeatedly detected Russian 9K720 Iskander ballistic missile systems near the Ukrainian border and on the territory of the annexed Crimea, the destruction range of which is threating territories beyond Ukraine. Vadym Skibritskyi, Representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine claimed this in a commentary to 5 Kanal.
He thinks that if Russia violates the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty it will threaten the security of most European countries.

‘If we talk theoretically: more than 500 km is yet a violation of the treaty. The treaty says that the deployment of such systems near the borders of Europe directly threatens the whole territory of European countries,’ Skibritskyi said.
He gave an example of the launch of the Caliber cruise missile, which allows covering half of Europe from the Black Sea area.
‘Which means all countries of eastern Europe - Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria – are under a direct aim if such strategic armaments,’ he claimed.
Earlier, Trump, speaking to reporters, said the United States is withdrawing from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty because Russia has violated it and did not provide a report.

‘Russia has violated the agreement. They have been violating it for many years,” Trump said after a rally in Elko, Nevada. “We’re not going to let them violate a nuclear agreement and do weapons and we’re not allowed to. We’re the ones that have stayed in the agreement and we’ve honored the agreement but Russia has not unfortunately honored the agreement so we’re going to terminate the agreement, we’re going to pull out,” the US president noted.
The agreement has constrained the U.S. from developing new weapons, but America will begin developing them unless Russia and China agree not to possess or develop the weapons, Trump said. China is not currently a party to the pact.

The Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles was signed in 1987 by General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee Mikhail Gorbachev and US President Ronald Reagan.
The agreement prohibits the parties from manufacturing ground-based ballistic and cruise nuclear missiles with a range from 500 to 5,500 km, as well as their testing and deployment.
