Ukraine extends treaty on MH17 International Mission for Protection of Investigation

The Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Parliament, extended the effect of the Ukrainian-Dutch agreement about the MH17 International Mission for Protection of Investigation. Thus, the treaty's expiration date was moved to August 2019. 
228 MPs upheld the respective bill, with 226 votes necessary to pass. 
The document was originally signed in July 2014. 
The explanatory note says that the extension of this document's effect will help involve the Dutch side in the further investigation of the MH17 tragedy. 
Boeing 777 of Malaysian Airlines, flight number MH17 was destroyed while performing a regular flight from the Netherlands to Malaysia in July 2014. The tragedy took place in the sky over the militant-held section of Donetsk region. All 298 people aboard deceased; most of the victims, 196, were Dutch, but there were citizens of another nine countries as well.
The governments of Australia and the Netherlands officially accused Russia of being behind the disaster.
