Barry would want me to carry on performing - Paul Chuckle

Paul Chuckle says losing his brother Barry has been "the worst feeling ever" but he knows his ChuckleVision co-star would want him to carry on performing.
Barry Chuckle died peacefully at home surrounded by his family at the age of 73.
Paul thanked their fans on Twitter, writing: "I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone for all your messages. They've been hard to read but I read every one."It's the worst feeling ever but I have to carry on as I know Barry would want me to, having always been so supportive of each other in both work and our personal lives."The funeral for Barry will take place at the New York Stadium in Rotherham on 17 August, attended by family and close friends.:: Six things you may not know about the Chuckle Brothers

The stadium is the home of Rotherham United Football Club, for whom Barry and Paul were honorary life presidents.A family statement said: "As a family we would welcome fans to celebrate his life and pay their respects with us, outside of the New York Stadium."There is an event for invited family and close friends which respectfully is private and by invite only."We are overwhelmed with the love and support we have received over the last few days, and thank everyone concerned!"
Paul previously said he did not know "until fairly recently" how ill his brother was.The duo shot to fame with their slapstick comedy ChuckleVision and catchphrase "to me, to you".

Barry and Paul - whose real surname is Elliott - had recently filmed a new series called ChuckleTime for Channel 5.Barry had not been well towards the end of the filming.Summer work was cancelled after his doctor told him to rest, but his health continued to deteriorate.The Chuckle Brothers won the talent show Opportunity Knocks in 1967 and ChuckleVision ran for 21 series from 1987 to 2009 on BBC.

The pair made a TV comeback on Chuckle Time, which featured the brothers performing comedy sketches and introducing humorous online videos.The pair were awarded a BAFTA Special Award in 2008 for their contribution to children's television.
