Rolling Stones announce first UK tour in five years

The Rolling Stones are to tour Britain for the first time in five years with gigs in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Cardiff.
The last time the rockers performed on home turf was in 2013 when they headlined Glastonbury and also played at London's Hyde Park.
The band will play at the London Stadium on 22 May, Manchester's Old Trafford football stadium on 5 June, Edinburgh's BT Murrayfield Stadium on 9 June and Cardiff's Principality Stadium on 15 June.They will wrap up the UK leg of the tour at Twickenham Stadium on 19 June.The new shows form the second leg of the band's No Filter tour, which will begin in Dublin's Croke Park stadium on 17 May.

It also includes concerts in Germany, France, Poland and the Czech Republic.
"There's no stopping us, we're only just getting started really," said guitarist Keith Richards, 74, in a statement.Frontman Mick Jagger, 74, said this part of the tour was "really special" and the band was "looking forward to getting back onstage in the summer and playing to fans in the UK and Ireland"."It's always exhilarating going to cities we haven't played for quite a while and also some new venues for us like Old Trafford and The London Stadium," he added.
