Phil Collins announced comeback tour

Phil Collins announced comeback tourThe 65-year-old rock veteran is coming out of retirement after 10 years with dates in London, Paris and Cologne.

Phil Collins will play five nights at London's Royal Albert Hall next summer.

The former Genesis frontman announced his retirement in 2011 but revealed last year he planned to go on tour.

Collins, who has been using a crutch because of injuries caused by years of drumming, said he was unlikely to play drums but his 15-year-old son, Nicholas, would fill in for his dad on tour.

"Nicholas is in the learning stage, and he's already a fantastic drummer," Collins said.

The musician added: "I don't think I will ever be able to play the way I used to. I'm 65, I've been playing since I was 5, so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it."
