First-ever festival at the White House The President of the US Barak Obama has announced the lineup of the South By South Lawn festival.

Musical line-up includes the Lumineers, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, and DJ Beverly Bond, with the full list of musical performances still yet to be announced.

A “festival of ideas, art and action” will “bring together creators, innovators, and organizers who work day in and day out to improve the lives of their fellow Americans and people around the world,” according to the official White House blog.

President Obama will take part in a conversation about climate change with Leonardo DiCaprio and climate scientist Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, prior to the preview screening of DiCaprio-directed documentary Before The Flood.

The young cast members of Stranger Things are among the artists invited by President Obama to appear at the first-ever festival at the White House.
